The school was opened in 1950 and is nestled into the rolling hills that characterise this area. Over the years and with significant support from the community, more classrooms were built and the grounds developed. The school is now an attractive and welcoming environment all year round.
There are currently forty three students from Reception to Year 7 in two classrooms. The school bus brings students from Delamere, Cape Jervis, Parawa and Second Valley. The office and library are situated in the existing solid building. The two main classrooms are linked with a covered play, lunch shed and assembly area. A third classroom is used for Indonesian and Music.
The Art / Science Room has plenty of elbow room for creative activity and experiments. The adjacent community oval is used for sport and activities that require room to move.
